Experience the Power of Flowers

Bach Flower Remedies ---
A simple and effective way of regaining emotional balance and health
Dr. Edward Bach

"...the thirty-eight herbs heal gently and surely, and as there are no poisonous plants amongst them there is no fear of ill effects from overdoses or incorrect prescriptions."

- Nora Weeks, The Medical Discoveries of Edward Bach, Physician

Dr. Edward Bach studied medicine in Birmingham and London, and set up private practice in Harley Street. Though he was doing very well, Dr Bach was not satisfied that medicine focussed exclusively upon the disease, and ignored the person as a whole. He wished to have a more holistic approach to healing. In this quest, he joined the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital. There he saw the close association between dis-eases and emotional and mental imbalances.

This led him to a search that would inevitably benefit the world: remedies that would be pure energy and not toxic for the physical body. He began growing plants and  flowers, and devoted his life to discovering a new system of medicine that made use of the gifts of Nature. In this, Dr Bach was guided by his natural healing ability and his intuition. Though he made many mistakes, and though he suffered setbacks, one by one, over a period of many years he found the remedies. He often made himself 'the guinea pig', and found that the flowers had the ability to repair the imbalance, and restore his emotional centre.

Each remedy was aimed at healing a particular mental or emotional state. He found that when he treated the 'personalities' and 'feelings', the physical symptoms would gently disappear as the emotional balance was restored, and the personality shifted to its positive state.

A year after his search of 38 remedies was complete, Dr Bach passed into light at the age of 50 years old. He left behind a rich gift of true healing; a healing of the inner environment that is responsible for the visible illness.
